If you sell your item using eBay and a buyer pays using PayPal your not covered.

eBay says  you have “Sellers Protection” that is the biggest load of shit - they don’t cover you.

I am telling you from first hand of how I as a eBay seller has been treated by PayPal.

I sold an item on eBay and the buyer paid using PayPal - eBay locks in paypal as a payment option - you can’t even remove that.

The item was shipped to the buyer, packed well but a plastic bit got broken during postage using Australia Post. The buyer didnt pay for insurance.

The item turns up with the plastic bit broken, the buyer even states this in a response that it got damaged during transit.

The buyer then lodges a “Item not as described” dispute with PayPal.

PayPal gives back the guy a full refund.

The buyer has to return to me the item which has been broken. Now I have an item that is broken and useless.

I should have not sold the item in the first place. DONT SELL USING EBAY AND PAYPAL. your not covered what so ever.

PayPal and eBay are just interested in charging you fees, they dont give a toss about you.
